Training

ChamSys offers extensive training for everyone who owns or is interested in our range of MagicQ products. We run training courses throughout the year both in the UK and the around the rest of the world. We also offer custom training at your location.

In addition we have a fully fitted demo room at our offices in Southampton where you can come and experiment with our consoles using visualisation, pixel mappers and media servers.

Training courses

Courses cover the use of all MagicQ products, including our range of PC Wings and MagicQ consoles. This includes programming generic, intelligent and LED fixtures and interfacing to media servers. Our courses are suitable for all skill levels - from no knowledge to advanced programming. Even the most experienced users can pick up tips and tricks.

Recent courses in Southampton have been a great success. They bring together users ranging from novices to experienced LD's from around the world, allowing them to share their knowledge, swap experiences and network with peers, while learning new skills on our consoles.

Training courses can be provided at your location or at our base in Southampton. We are pleased to tailor courses to specific needs. Our general training courses are free of charge. Depending on location and numbers of attendees, ChamSys may need to make a small charge in order to cover costs for customer specific courses.

"Experiment and Play"

We have a fully fitted demo room in Southampton complete with our MagicQ consoles and MagicQ Wing products. We provide visualisation for each of our consoles (WYSIWYG or Capture) to enable users to easily visualise their lighting and learn the products from our self-paced training course.

For LED and generic dimmer arrays we have pixel mapping visualisation. In addition we have Hippotizer, Arkaos Media Master and Catalyst media servers available for connection to our consoles.

Users can come and "play and experiment" for just a few hours or for a couple of days. We do not charge for this service. Please contact Clare clare@chamsys.co.uk to book the equipment.
